Reviews and Ratings
I felt like I was in a hidden gem with the lovely rooms opening onto the garden, a rear wing of the building to the rear of the pub. It's worth more than five stars. The service was a bit inconsistent, starting off not so great but ending on a positive note with a very friendly and welcoming staff. The location is ideal for exploring Windsor and enjoying some peaceful time, although the poor mobile phone coverage was a bit of a letdown. The dining experience, while including some fresh products, had its ups and downs, especially in terms of timing. Overall, a charming spot with a mix of highs and lows.
The hotel has a country-style charm with lovely, well-decorated rooms. While a bit dark and needing lights on even in the daytime, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal for tourists visiting Windsor or flying out from Heathrow, providing a quiet retreat with historical touches. The dining experience is satisfactory, although some meals may feel rushed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay overall.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely, beautifully decorated, and clean, with doors opening onto the gardens. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and always on top of sanitizing. The location was excellent for exploring the area, and the dining experience was generally good. However, there were some issues with the dining options and safety concerns in the facilities.
